Prudence Obarugbi is a passionate and astute business lawyer having remarkable experience in Transactional law, Negotiation and litigation which spans through Real Estate Investment, Finance, Corporate Governance, Business Structure & Management, Commercial Law amongst others respectively. She leads the legal team and brings to fore dynamic knowledge and experience advising on various transactions relating to real estate, and numerous business solutions. She is adept at legal research, drafting and legal documentation. She began her career as a legal practitioner in core litigation law firms before transiting as a corporate in-house counsel. She serves as Director & Company Secretary at Flying Dutchman Limited. She was Legal Consultant at Freeze and Trav Global Ltd. Also, she served as an Executive Director (E.D) & Secretary at Living Wealth Empowerment Initiative (NGO). Prudence also serves on the Board of Trustees of Homeland Synergy Foundation as Trustee/Secretary, a Legal & Business Relations’ Consultant for Firmtec Global Group, and acting Legal & Company Secretary at Standout Stocicco Group. A member of professional associations including, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), NBA – “Section on Business Law”, and Student Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administration of Nigeria (ICSAN). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Diploma-in-Law from the prestigious Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria. She has obtained relevant certifications and trainings home and abroad across diverse sectors such as Human Resource Management, Business Structuring & Management, Investment Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Real Estate Entrepreneurship, Product Management amongst others including her pursuit of a Master’s program in Business Law at the University of Oregon, United States. She was called to the Nigerian Bar as Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2018 having passed the qualifying examination at the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos. In her quest for bespoke and pristine legal service delivery, she co-founded a law firm “Timeless Attorneys LP” in 2022. She currently heads the Legal and Human Resource department at Standout Properties Limited where she is saddled with the responsibility of providing a wide range of services which includes legal & corporate services, and human resource management. Prudence Obarugbi is ardent and committed to building viable business structures and strives to drive zero-litigation policy internally whilst collaborating with team members and stakeholders to drive and boost productivity, revenue and expansion in line with the company’s goals and objectives.
