An INSEAD Global Executive MBA graduate and Chartered Engineer, Efemena has held senior leadership roles at Total Energies in France and Nigeria, where she managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios, led carbon reduction strategies, and provided fiscal and strategic oversight for complex energy infrastructure including involvement in the $50B+ NLNG Joint Venture. Her expertise spans ESG integration, climate innovation, risk governance, and stakeholder engagement all increasingly vital to responsible and future ready real estate development.
Beyond the corporate sector, Efemena serves as an Angel Investor and Board Advisor to climate tech and impact driven startups across Sub-Saharan Africa, mentoring founders on governance, product market fit, and sustainable scaling. She is also a member of TheBoardroom Africa and GAIA Africa, a pan-African network of influential women leaders.
